Der Landesjugendring NRW hat auf Einladung zur Anhörung des Ausschusses für Familie, Kinder und Jugend am 17. Januar 2019 die Möglichkeit genutzt, schriftlich zum Thema „Intersexuelle Menschen nicht länger pathologisieren“ (Drs. 17/3027) Stellung zu beziehen. Für den Landesjugendring NRW und seine Mitgliedsverbände steht die Notwendigkeit geschlechtergerechter und -sensibler Maßnahmen für junge Menschen außer Frage. Hierzu gehört für den Landesjugendring NRW auch die Anerkennung von Variationen der körperlichen Geschlechtsmerkmale.
